What is a skill-tree roadmap?

A product roadmap drawn like a game’s skill tree: each product area gets its own colour, paths light up when the work they depend on ships, milestones open as the work before them lands, and big bets stand out. It shows why X comes before Y — which a list or a kanban board can’t.

Do my customers need an account to vote?

No. Visitors can spend votes anonymously (you can require sign-in per map). If they sign in later, their votes come with them and the features they backed are followed, so they hear when their picks ship.

How is this different from an upvote board?

Upvotes are free and endless, so they measure noise. Votes are limited — a budget per season and a cap per feature — and they come back when a feature ships, so customers return to spend them again.

Can I keep my roadmap private?

Yes. Maps are private until you publish them. Free includes 1 private map; paid plans have no cap. You can also share a password-protected, team-only or unlisted map, or a revocable share link.
